This release is about listening β and then understanding. With Version 3.8.0, Crqlar introduces a complete Guest Survey module, adds AI that reads and classifies written guest feedback for you, and significantly expands the Insights you already use in CRM and Marketing.
Together, these updates close the loop between what your guests experience, what they tell you, and what you decide to do next.
Here are the five improvements that come with this release.
π Guest Surveys β Ask the Right Questions, in Every Language
Crqlar now includes a full survey builder. You design your own questionnaire β ratings, scales, single and multiple choice, free text, dates, numbers, image uploads and signatures β in every language your property serves, and style it with your own theme, welcome screen and end screen.
Questions do not have to be the same for everyone. Visibility rules let a question appear only when an earlier answer, or the guest's category, calls for it. And because you define guest categories yourself β what "first-time" or "regular" means at your house, based on completed stays or nights β a returning guest and a first-time guest can each get a questionnaire that actually fits them.
When you publish, Crqlar checks the survey for you first: missing translations, empty answer options, a misplaced end screen or a rule pointing at something that no longer exists are all reported before a single guest ever sees the form. Published surveys are versioned, so an edit tomorrow never rewrites the answers you collected yesterday.
What does this mean? You no longer need a separate survey tool, a separate login and a separate export. The questionnaire, the guest data and the results live in the same place.
The benefit: Professional, multilingual guest surveys that are ready to send in minutes β and safe to publish, because the system checks them before your guests do.
π Sharing and Follow-Up β From a Reservation, or Open to Everyone
There are two ways to reach a guest. From a reservation, you create a personal invitation link: it belongs to that stay and that guest, it can be answered once, and the response comes back attached to the profile and reservation it came from. Or you share an open link β a QR code at reception, a link on your website, a card in the room β that anyone can answer anonymously.
Every invitation shows you exactly where it stands: not opened, opened, in progress, completed. Automations take it from there β a submitted survey can trigger a follow-up flow, and guests who have not answered after a few days can be reminded automatically, exactly once. Service-recovery rules let you react differently to a critical response than to an enthusiastic one, so the right guest gets the right message.
What does this mean? Collecting feedback stops being a manual campaign and becomes part of your normal guest journey.
The benefit: Higher response rates with less effort, and every answer connected to the guest and stay it belongs to.
π€ Survey Insights β AI That Reads the Free Text for You
Written feedback is the most valuable and the most time-consuming part of any survey. Crqlar now does the reading. As responses arrive, AI classifies the sentiment of each written answer and assigns it to your own feedback themes β breakfast, spa, cleanliness, service, whatever matters at your property β so patterns emerge without anyone opening a spreadsheet.
The Insights page turns that into a picture you can act on: your score and response development over time, the health of your reach from invitation to completed answer, sentiment trends, the themes guests mention most, and a breakdown by language, service, resource or guest category. Comparison ranges sit next to every figure, so you always see the movement, not just the number. And the export composes its report from exactly the same figures β what you read on the page is what you send to your team.
Privacy is built in. Questions you mark as sensitive are excluded from AI processing entirely, staff can black out individual passages of text before a response is shared internally, and each survey carries its own retention period, after which responses and their attachments are removed automatically.
What does this mean? Hundreds of written comments become a handful of clear findings, without anyone spending an afternoon on them.
The benefit: You learn what to fix β and what to keep doing β while it still matters.
π CRM Insights β Your Performance, End to End
CRM Insights has been rebuilt and expanded. The overview brings your core figures together β ADR, RevPAR, occupancy and cumulative revenue β as day, week or month development, with an optional comparison period aligned beside it. You can see occupied room nights by rate or service, stays by booking channel, and calendar-month seasonality across years.
The demographics view goes deeper into who your guests actually are: origin and distribution on a map, booking behaviour, revenue by country, and guest-value rankings that show your most frequent and highest-spending guests, with the option to exclude the entries that should not count.
Just as importantly, the figures are honest about themselves. Revenue is attributed to the stay window rather than to a synchronisation timestamp, and where the underlying data does not fully cover a period, Crqlar shows that instead of quietly presenting an incomplete number as a complete one.
What does this mean? Your commercial picture and your guest picture come from one system, with a clear indication of how solid each figure is.
The benefit: Decisions based on numbers you can trust β and explain in a management meeting.
π― Budgets & π§ Marketing Insights β Targets and Reach at a Glance
Budgets let you set your targets per period and per metric, and see your actual performance directly against them in CRM Insights. Rate-based targets stay constant across the period, cumulative targets are prorated to the days you selected, and only one period is active at a time β so there is never any doubt which plan you are being measured against.
Marketing Insights answers the question you have before every send: who can I actually reach? It shows your current contact reach, the health of your consent and list data, and the performance of your synchronised mailings. Beyond that, it surfaces up to twelve inferred guest interests with the number of marketable contacts behind each one, and five lifecycle segments with the lifetime value at stake β every one of them ready to become a campaign audience, without building the filter by hand.
What does this mean? You see your goals and your reachable audience before you plan, not after the campaign has run.
The benefit: Sharper targeting, realistic expectations, and campaigns aimed at guests you can genuinely reach.
