At Crqlar, we're continuously improving the user experience to make daily work at the reception, restaurant, and spa even faster. Version 3.7.7 is all about refining the interface, reducing clicks, and helping your team find the right information more quickly.
Here are the highlights of this release.
Find the Right Guest Faster
Searching for guests is now much clearer and more informative.
We've redesigned the guest search window to help your team quickly distinguish between guests with similar names. Search results now display additional information including:
- Room number
- Email address
- Birthdate
- Gender
In addition, the "Search full guest database" option is now more prominent, making it easier to find guests who are not currently staying at your hotel.
Benefit: Reception staff can identify the correct guest faster and create reservations with greater confidence.
A Cleaner Reservation Window
We've polished the reservation dialog to create a more consistent experience.
Updates include:
- All input fields now have the same height for a cleaner appearance.
- The Multi-day option now spans the full width like the other fields, making the layout more intuitive.
Benefit: A more modern interface that is easier and more comfortable to use throughout the day.
More Helpful Service Selection
When creating spa reservations, choosing the correct service is now easier than ever.
The service dropdown now displays:
- Service name
- Price
- Duration
For example:
Deep Tissue Massage | €80 | 45 min
Benefit: Staff can immediately answer guest questions about prices and treatment duration without opening additional menus.
Color-Coded Resource Selection
We've introduced visual colour coding in several areas to help staff make faster decisions.
Creating Services
Resources are now highlighted by relevance:
- 🟢 Green: Resources in the same sector
- 🔴 Red: Resources from other sectors
Creating Spa Reservations
When booking from the Staff or Facility calendar view, services are now colour coded:
- 🟢 Green: Services that use the selected staff member or facility
- 🔴 Red: Other services
Relevant services are also listed first.
Benefit: Less searching, fewer mistakes, and faster reservation creation.
Smarter Calendar View
The Working Today filter now follows the date you've selected in the calendar.
Previously, it always displayed today's staff. Now it automatically updates to show the employees or resources scheduled for the date you're viewing.
Benefit: Better planning when managing future reservations and schedules.
