With Version 3.7.6, we're introducing two new features designed to make managing reservations simpler and more secure.
Read-Only User Permissions
Not every team member needs permission to edit reservations. In many hotels, receptionists, trainees, or external staff only need to view reservation details without making changes.
With the new Read-Only user permission, administrators can now give users access to view reservations while preventing any modifications.
What's new?
A new "Read Only" checkbox has been added to the user permissions.
Users with this permission can:
- View reservation details
- Navigate within their assigned module
- Use filters and search
They cannot:
- Create reservations
- Edit reservation details
- Delete reservations
- Cancel reservations
Why it matters
This gives hotels greater control over who can make operational changes, reducing the risk of accidental edits while ensuring staff still have access to the information they need.
Automatic Cancellation & Prolonging of Restaurant Reservations
Managing restaurant reservations when hotel stays change can be time-consuming. If a guest leaves early or extends their stay, restaurant reservations often need to be adjusted manually.
With Version 3.7.6, Crqlar can now automate these processes.
What's new?
On the sector level, administrators can enable two new automation settings:
- Automatically cancel restaurant reservations when a guest checks out earlier than planned.
- Automatically prolong restaurant reservations when a guest extends their hotel stay.
Why it matters
These automations keep restaurant reservations synchronized with the latest stay information from your PMS, helping your team avoid manual updates and ensuring reservation schedules always stay accurate.
