With Crqlar Version 3.5.2, we focused on improvements that directly support hotel teams in their daily workflows. This release brings important upgrades to the reservation experience, floor plan handling, weekly planner logic, and guest search. All improvements are based on valuable feedback from our customers.
Below you’ll find an overview of what’s new.
🧾 Widget Reservations Behave Like Standard Reservations
With this update:
- Single reservations made via the widget are now displayed correctly as standard reservations
- Ensures proper charging and SKU assignment
Value for hotels:
Front-office and restaurant staff save time and avoid confusion during check-in or reservation management.
🍽 Floor Plan: Drag & Drop Now Updates in Real Time
With this update:
- Drag & drop updates appear instantly

🖨 Weekly Agenda – Support for Custom Print Templates
Hotels can now fully customize the Weekly Agenda printout using the same Print Template functionality already available in other modules.
New options include:
- Single-language or multi-language output
- Custom banner image
- Custom header and footer
- Support for single-day and week views
Value for hotels:
Hotels can offer guests beautifully branded agendas tailored to their language and hotel experience.
📅 Weekly Planner Works Without Capacity Overrides
Some weekly planner activities don’t require a capacity. Previously, these could not function without setting an override.
This release fixes that:
- Activities work with or without capacity
- Improved consistency across event types
Value for hotels:
Smoother setup for activities like welcome drinks, information sessions, or events without hard limits.
⛔ Create Blocks Right Until a Reservation Starts
Hotels often need to add a block right before a booking begins, e.g.
14:30–15:00 block before a 15:00 massage appointment.
This is now fully supported:
- Blocks can be created right up to the reservation start
- No more issues with micro-overlaps
- Display remains intuitive for staff
Value for hotels:
More control over operations and resource planning in spa and restaurant teams.
🔍 More Accurate Guest Search (First Name / Last Name)
We improved the logic for searching guest profiles by name.
Value for hotels:
Faster and more reliable front-office workflows when searching for guests.
📆 Multiday Reservations: Consistent Floor Plan Behavior
When adjusting a multiday reservation on the floor plan (table change, restaurant change, time change), the system now displays the familiar popup:
- “Only this one”
- “All linked reservations”
- “This and upcoming”
Value for hotels:
Less manual work and clearer control when updating multi-day dining arrangements.
📝 Notes Section Always Open by Default
The “More / Notes” accordion in the reservation dialog now stays open by default.
Value for hotels:
Faster access to important guest notes and preferences—especially useful in spa and restaurant operations.
📅 Date Consistency + New “Today” Button
To reduce confusion, the selected date is now kept when switching between:
- Calendar
- Floor plan
- List
- Active stays
We also added a “Today” button to easily jump back to the current day.
Value for hotels:
Consistent navigation and fewer accidental date changes during operations.
