1. A More Reliable Availability Popup
Managing staff and facility availabilities is essential for smooth spa and restaurant operations. In this update, we’ve resolved several edge cases that made repeated availabilities difficult to maintain.
Improvements include:
- Availability rules no longer revert from closed to open
- Editing or deleting individual days in a repeated rule now stores correctly
- Duration changes apply reliably to single instances within repeated availabilities
- Availability slots open consistently without requiring refresh
- Capacity override behaves as expected, including correct color selection
- Weekly repeat defaults to the weekday selected in the calendar—not today’s date
- Duplicate availability rules no longer appear when slots overlap
These fixes ensure that what you see on the calendar truly reflects your team’s real availability—reducing mistakes and improving guest communication.
2. Search in Lists Works Again
The global search inside lists (e.g., reservations, CRM, spa bookings) now behaves as expected.
You can once again:
- Search by full name
- Search by first or last name
- Search by room number
This makes everyday tasks like finding a reservation or identifying a guest much faster.
3. Image Upload Feedback in the Booking Widget
Previously, uploading images that were too small could lead to silent failures. Hotels now receive proper validation feedback so image management is clearer and frustration-free.
4. Tips Visible Again on Reservation Printouts
The printout now shows the tip information correctly—no extra configuration required. This ensures that your print templates accurately reflect the full reservation details your guests expect.
5. “Working Today” Now Accurately Reflects Availability
One of the most helpful staff-planning tools is “Working Today.” This button now correctly shows only those resources who have availability on the selected date—also for repeated availability rules.
This greatly improves clarity during busy shifts, especially in spas where staff change daily.
6. Calendar Block Feature More Reliable
Staff can once again create blocks without unexpected errors. If there is no reservation, you can reliably create a block—exactly as intended.
This helps hotels reserve time for internal work, cleaning, special events, or maintenance without confusion.
7. Special Characters from Fully Supported
Crqlar now correctly processes special characters (ä, ö, ü, ß, and others). Guest data stays consistent and clean across systems—crucial for marketing and CRM automation.
8. Weekly Planner: Printable Agenda for Guest Stays
Hotels can now generate a weekly agenda that includes all guest bookings throughout their stay. This was a popular feature in V2 and is now available again.
Perfect for:
- Arrival folders
- Pre-stay emails
- Personalized service overviews
Hotels can also design and select their own print templates.
9. Updating Multi-Day Reservations Now Changes Only the Time
When adjusting the time of a reservation inside a multi-day booking group, Crqlar now updates:
✔ time only
✖ NOT the date
This prevents accidental shifting of all reservations to the same date, preserving the logic of multi-day sequences.
