Crqlar Version 3.7.3 – AI-Powered Knowledgebase Chat, Transactional Emails Update & Calendar Search Optimization

With Version 3.7.3, we are bringing deeper customizability to your guest-facing channels, multiple user experience enhancements to daily calendar operations, and core search speed upgrades. This update helps teams save clicks, prevent reservation mistakes, and seamlessly sync client-entered data.

✉️🚨 New Transactional Email Sendout Logic

  • With the new update there are less transaction types involved
  • Users now need to explicitely choose 'Create reservation & send e-mail' if they want the transactional mail to be sent to the guests.

🔮 Research Launch: AI-Powered Knowledgebase Chat

To continuously optimize ease of use and assist support teams, we have initiated targeted design and research for an integrated AI Knowledgebase Chatbot.

Our upcoming framework targets key modules:

  1. Simple Snippet Injection: A lightweight Javascript block deployable to any web app with complete custom support for logos, themes, and corner layout position alignment.
  2. Hallucination Countermeasures: Ensuring responses map cleanly to matching, verified knowledgebase articles in your database.
  3. Omnichannel Handoffs: Built to automatically pass unresolved client queries into Slack channels for live responses, featuring a background loop that drafting articles from those interactions. The pipeline is designed for future WhatsApp and internal chat expansions.

⚙️ Optional & Mandatory Fields in the Booking Engine

Hotels require granular flexibility over the information requested during direct guest bookings. Within the Form Configuration screen, widget creators can now fully tailor which fields are shown to guests in the customer details section.

New capabilities include:

  • Custom Field Selectors: Choose whether fields like Street Name, City, Zip Code, and Country are shown, hidden, or set to optional/mandatory.
  • Flexible Time Requirements: You can now make the arrival time field completely optional. This is highly useful for businesses like Day Spas where exact timing isn’t mandatory. When disabled, the booking system will auto-assign the earliest operational availability time.
  • Direct Profile Syncing: Address details entered by a customer via the booking engine are now fully mapped and synced directly into the core Guest Profile within Crqlar, removing manual duplication.

📅 Calendar UI/UX Refinements

Daily hotel and restaurant operations depend on visual speed. We have delivered multiple UI updates across your core calendars to improve layout precision and visibility:

  • Next-Gen Date Picker: We have redesigned the date picker across all system screens. The legacy "Today" button has been brought directly to the front of the field. The indicator automatically turns Blue if you are viewing the current day and stays Grey for other dates. We've also positioned immediate one-day step-back and step-forward navigation arrows cleanly around the field.
  • Enhanced Availability Shading: The background highlight color representing available operational slots has been adjusted from faint #F3FEFF to a much more prominent, easily readable #c2f8fc.
  • Resource Clutter Cleanup: To reduce clutter, we have dropped the repetitive "Table/Tisch" prefix from child restaurant resources. Items now show cleanly as "B1" on your timeline grids and reservation dialogue popups.
  • Unassigned Row Shading: The background of unassigned resource rows can now display a custom pattern block, isolating unallocated reservations visually from fixed configurations.

⚡ Performance and Fast Search Upgrades

Getting answers quickly directly impacts staff productivity. This release introduces performance patches focused on high-traffic areas:

  • Unified Instant Guest Search: Following our update to a simplified single-field guest lookup box in the reservation dialog, we resolved an issue where searching by room number was restricted. The live search logic has been optimized to query and return real-time matches instantly when typing a Room Number, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, or Phone Number.
  • Calendar Search Velocity: Leveraging optimizations originally developed for our target audience generation logic, search speeds inside the master calendar views are significantly faster and lighter on system resources.
  • Contextual Table Allocation: The table allocation dropdown now dynamically recognizes which restaurant entity you selected and lists that specific restaurant's tables right at the top of your list.
  • Out-of-Availability Alerts: If a front desk staff member inadvertently configures or moves a reservation outside a resource's structured availability windows, the platform will prompt a protective warning badge upon clicking Save or Confirm.
